Rock painting at the river.
We took our set of non toxic watercolour paints and a handful of paint brushes to the river in the weekend.
We found painting patterns rather than pictures suited the irregular shapes and textures of the river stones.
Sadie hoped that someone would find her painted rocks and that they would make them smile.
The rain will wash them clean.
While painting we were visited by a rather large wolf spider. We couldn't believe our eyes when it walked across the stone where I had painted a spiders web!
The children are still talking about it.
