A fun and easy thing to do while out in the garden is to make autumn crowns.
All you need is a selection of leaves, a stapler and a strip of firm card. It's nice for the children to collect various types of leaves. Encourage them to look for different colours, sizes and shapes. You could also use flowers and feathers to add different colours and textures.
Measure around the circumference of their heads and staple the strip of card to make a circle. Arrange the leaves and simply staple them onto the card.
Sadie wore her one all day ~ simple, fun and gorgeous.
They only last for a day, but that's alright because you can always make another one tomorrow! x
