Sadie has some good friends that are boys ~ Finn, Aiden and Sam. She's comfortable around boys, not surprising as she has two brothers. She's also the kind of girl who loves pretty dresses but in the same breath has dirt under her nails and a worm in her hand. Sadie also has an intriguing husky voice for a little girl which puts a smile on many people's faces.
A wee while back Sadie made a birthday card for her friend Finn's 5th birthday. On the front of the card she drew Finn and herself holding hands. Sadie is holding a bunch of flowers and she announces that it was her and Finn 'getting married'.
Then last week she comes home with a gorgeous bunch of sweet peas. Her friend Aiden had picked them from his grandmothers garden, supposedly for the kindy teachers. But he decided he would rather give them to Sadie. Very sweet.
And so it continues.... with a school disco on Friday night. She dresses up with clippy hand bag and a bow in hair with grand plans of dancing with Finn....
But Finn was too slow, Sam sidles up to Sadie and they end up dancing for the entire disco.
